Separation of Phosphorus from Phosphorus-concentrated Steelmaking Slag

نویسندگان

چکیده

Since 10 million tons of steelmaking slag, which contains a few percent phosphorus, are annually produced, the phosphorus amount in slag is equivalent to annual import volume rock Japan. Therefore, attracting attention as potential resources. Phosphorus-concentrated obtained by dephosphorization reaction between high hot metal and oxidizing at temperature phosphorous comparable that rock. However, because FeO concentration, it difficult use for resources directly. In this work, effects pH, acid type leaching method on dissolution behavior from P-concentrated were investigated. As result, progressed lower was promoted addition citric acid, known chelate former. When nylon mill pot stirring with alumina nitric compared impeller stirring, respectively. By combining citrate leachate, accelerated, pulverized during formation insoluble metal-phosphate inhibited complex ion leached cation citrate. while controlling pH ratio lowered since aluminum ion, supplied crushing ball leaching, constructed secondary products low solubility along other dissolved ions.

Recovery of Manganese and Phosphorus from Dephosphorization Slag with Wet Magnetic Separation

The dephosphorization slag has a great potential as the secondary resources of manganese and phosphorus, while quite a large amount of slag is landfilled and simply reused such as cement. The objective of this study is to investigate the recovery of manganese and phosphorus by wet magnetic separation technique. The hot metal pretreatment slag (dephosphorization slag) generally contains a Ca3P2O...

Effect of aging on Phosphorus removal of metallurgical slag and heat reactivation of aged slag

In order to examine the effect of ageing on P removal capacity, the phosphorus (P) removal capacity of three types of slag, argon oxygen decarburisation slag (AOD), blast furnace slag (BFS) and electric arc furnace slag (EAF), was examined after 0, 10, 13 and 19 months in batch experiments. The results showed that ageing reduced P removal capacity, e.g. by 78.4% for 19-month-old AOD slag. For B...

Processing and Reusing Technologies for Steelmaking Slag

About 40 million tons of steel slag a year, which is the by-product of iron and steel manufacture, is generated in Japan and the almost all the slag is reused for the materials, e.g. cement raw material, road base course material and civil engineering material, by effectively utilizing its characteristics such as chemical components and mechanical properties. Most of its purposes of uses are to...

The Use of Blast Furnace Slag for Removal of Phosphorus from Wastewater in Sweden—A Review

Research on Phosphorus (P) removal capacity by blast furnace slags (BFS) has been undertaken in Sweden for the last decade. Both laboratory experiments and field trials have been carried out. While laboratory investigations revealed that BFS has a high P-sorption capacity (95–100%), P removal in field trials was much lower, ranging from 40 to 53%. In addition, a number of problems have been obs...
